Who owns the clips created with Gordie?
You own the final video clips and podcast audio generated for you.
Do you train AI on my recordings?
No. Gordie does not use user recordings or media to train public artificial intelligence models.
Will Gordie publish my content publicly?
Gordie will not publicly share your content without your permission.
Do you store files forever?
No guarantee. You are responsible for downloading and retaining copies of your content.
BY CREATING AN ACCOUNT OR USING GORDIE, YOU (A) ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THESE TERMS; (B) REPRESENT THAT YOU ARE 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER; AND (C) AGREE TO BE LEGALLY BOUND BY THESE TERMS. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS, YOU MAY NOT USE THE SERVICE.
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of Gordie, a service operated by The Real Human Project LLC (“Gordie,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
Gordie provides tools that allow users to:
• record interviews and conversations
• upload audio or video recordings
• generate edited video clips and podcast audio
• download generated media files
• optionally publish podcast episodes to supported platforms such as Spotify
The service may use automated technologies, including artificial intelligence systems, to process recordings and generate media.
We may update, improve, or discontinue features of the service at any time.
You must create an account to use certain features of the service.
You agree to:
• provide accurate account information
• maintain the security of your account
• notify us of unauthorized use of your account
You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
Accounts may allow multiple authorized users where the service permits.
“User Content” includes any material submitted through the service, including:
• audio recordings
• video recordings
• uploaded media
• written descriptions or interview context
• links or information provided to generate interview questions
• transcripts or related materials
You are responsible for the content you upload, record, or submit.
You agree not to use the service to record or upload content that:
• violates applicable laws
• infringes intellectual property rights
• contains confidential information you do not have permission to share
• includes sensitive personal information such as medical or financial data
• is defamatory, abusive, or unlawful
You represent that you have obtained any necessary permissions from individuals appearing in recordings.
You also confirm that individuals appearing in recordings have been informed that recordings may be processed and edited using automated tools.
Users are solely responsible for the content they create, record, upload, or publish using the service.
Gordie’s editing, formatting, or technical processing of recordings does not constitute review, endorsement, or approval of the content.
Gordie reserves the right to remove or restrict access to content that violates these Terms, applicable law, or may create legal risk for the service.
This includes requesting removal of podcast episodes from third-party distribution platforms where feasible.
Gordie is not responsible for monitoring user-generated content created using the service.
By using the service to record audio or video, you grant Gordie permission to record and process your voice, likeness, and recorded statements for the purpose of providing the service.
If other individuals appear in recordings, you represent that you have obtained their permission.
Recordings created through Gordie may include your voice and likeness.
Gordie uses these recordings solely to generate the media requested by the user.
Gordie does not create voice clones, synthetic voice models, or digital replicas of users without explicit permission.
User recordings are not used to train public artificial intelligence models.
Users retain ownership of:
• final edited video clips
• final podcast audio generated by Gordie
Gordie retains ownership of:
• raw recordings
• intermediate processing files
• editing artifacts
• system-generated production assets used to create the final media
Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of Gordie’s software, technology, editing systems, or underlying platform.
To operate the service, you grant Gordie a non-exclusive, worldwide license to:
• record and process submitted content
• edit and generate media
• store and host recordings
• distribute podcast audio when you request publication
• perform actions necessary to provide the service
This license exists solely to operate and deliver the Gordie service.
The service uses automated technologies, including artificial intelligence systems, to assist with:
• interview interactions
• transcription
• editing
• media generation
By using Gordie, you consent to your content being processed by these technologies.
GORDIE DOES NOT USE USER RECORDINGS OR MEDIA TO TRAIN PUBLIC ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE MODELS.
Gordie allows users to download edited clips and podcast audio generated through the service.
Raw recordings and intermediate files are not provided for download.
Recordings and generated media may be stored for operational or backup purposes, but WE DO NOT GUARANTEE PERMANENT STORAGE.
Users are responsible for downloading and retaining copies of their content.
Users may choose to publish podcast episodes generated by Gordie to supported platforms such as Spotify.
When you choose to publish:
• Gordie may host and distribute podcast episodes using accounts managed by Gordie
• Gordie may modify episode titles, descriptions, or artwork based on information you provide
• analytics and distribution accounts may be managed by Gordie
Users may request removal of published episodes by contacting:

We will make reasonable efforts to remove content from supported platforms.
Gordie will not publicly share or promote user content without permission.
We may request permission to use clips or excerpts for marketing or promotional purposes.
Permission may be granted in writing, including via email.
Some features of the service may require payment.
If you purchase paid access:
• you agree to the pricing presented at the time of purchase
• subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled
• fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated
We may change pricing in the future.
You agree not to:
• attempt to reverse engineer the service
• upload malicious software
• interfere with platform operation
• misuse automated systems or AI features
Feedback you provide about Gordie may be used to improve the service.
Gordie may collect and use anonymized, aggregated data derived from use of the service to improve the platform, analyze product performance, and develop new features.
This data will not identify individual users or their content.
Gordie may rely on third-party providers to operate the service, including:
• hosting providers
• AI processing services
• podcast distribution platforms
• analytics providers
We are not responsible for the policies or actions of third-party services.
Users may request deletion of recordings associated with their account by contacting:

We will make reasonable efforts to process deletion requests.
Gordie provides tools to create media content.
We do not guarantee any particular creative, professional, or business outcomes.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GORDIE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GORDIE AND THE REAL HUMAN PROJECT LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO GORDIE DURING THE TWELVE MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM.
We may suspend or terminate access to the service if users violate these Terms.
Users may stop using the service at any time.
We may update these Terms periodically.
Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
